The Midwest M20 310HP Conversion for models M20S, M20R and M20TN is the premier STC owned and offered by Midwest M20.
With as little as one day of downtime, your Eagle, Ovation or Acclaim will leave our mod center a transformed machine, using
technology that even Mooney Airplane Company licenses from us for upgrading some of its models.
The 310 Conversion:
- Upgrades the M20S, M20R and M20TN to full 310 horsepower
- Replaces the land loving 2-blade McCauley with your choice of the Hartzell 3-bladed scimitar prop, metal or composite
(ask about a discount when combining our STC'd composite propeller with our 310 conversion)
- Includes an option to upgrade to an N engine, lightening the total weight of your engine by a full eight pounds
After The 310 Conversion, your Mooney will:
- Climb at a drastically increased rate
- Require up to 40% less runway, in many reported cases getting off the ground in less than 800 feet
- Enjoy a maximum RPM of 2700
- Fly farther without stops, due to increased fuel efficiency
The 310 Conversion is now available for the Mooney M20TN Acclaim. Our testing has shown that the modified Acclaim climbs
from sea level to 25,000ft in just 22 minutes.
