Bob Powless, RHP - President
Bob has been a pilot for over 40 years and has been an active, instrument-rated
and high performance aircraft pilot for over 15 years. He developed the engineering
arm of Midwest M20, which tests and develops innovative STCs to upgrade the performance
of a variety of aircraft. For over 30 years, Bob has been Chairman of the Flora
Aiport Authority and recently oversaw the building of Midwest M20’s new 20,000 square
foot facility, which houses our operation.
For the past 40 years, Bob has also acted as President and CEO of Throgmorton-Powless
Pharmacy and has been a consulting pharmacist to hospitals, nursing homes, pharmacies,
physicians clinics, and community health departments for equally as long.

David Thompson – General Manager
Dave Thompson is a former city administrator at the City of Flora, Illinois. During
his 32 years with the City, he served as Superintendent of Utilities, Director of
Public Works, and City Administrator with a budget of 20 million dollars. He was
responsible for the Electric, Gas, Water, Sewer, Streets, Parks, Police, Fire, Economic
Development, and Administrative Offices. He served on several Boards including the
Clay County Board of Directors, Chairman of the Clay County Hospital Board, Illinois
Municipal Electric Agency Executive Board, and the American Public Power Legislative
Committee in Washington, D.C.
He now brings his extensive administrative expertise to the management of Midwest
M20, where he oversees operations and ensures the complete satisfaction of the Midwest
M20 clientele.

Justin Gartman, A.P. – Shop Supervisor
Trained in Garmin products and technology for Mooney aircraft, as well as general
aviation, factory service school and maintenance for Mooney pilots. He attended
Bakers School of Aeronautics in Nashville, and has over six years experience in
maintenance of all Mooney models.
